Masters of Imitation pays tribute to the musical art of borrowing, reflecting, and transforming. At its heart is the sensual and refined music of Orlando di Lassus and Josquin des Prez, where fragments of earlier works are woven into new, radiant creations. The programme also includes music by John Taverner and a newly composed piece inspired by Lassus - a dialogue between past and present.
