Welcome to the National Stage for Early Music at the concert house Musikaliska in Stockholm, a genre-specific focal point for baroque, renaissance and medieval music run by EARLY MUSIC SWEDEN. An attractive platform that brings 1000 years of cultural heritage and music history to life in the present and a permanent stage where the Swedish and international interpreters of early music meet to give the Swedish public high-quality artistic experiences in the sign of passion – all year round.
The National Stage for Early Music opened on 4 September 2022 on Musikaliska’s main stage – Stockholm’s oldest concert hall – with a guest performance by one of the world’s leading baroque ensembles: Les Arts Florissants (FR).
At the moment, the activity is temporarily paused due to Musikaliska’s uncertain situation and lack of funding.
