Embark on a historical journey with Cappella Mariana’s latest project, exploring the life and legacy of the Czech humanist Kryštof Harant. Through Harant’s unfinished compositions and literary masterpieces, his travels to the Holy Land come to life in historically authentic arrangements. This rare fusion of Eastern and Western traditions—from Cyprus to Cairo—features music from Ottoman, Persian, and post-Byzantine sources.
In a fruitful collaboration, Cappella Mariana and Constantinople, led by setar virtuoso Kiya Tabassian, present a vibrant cultural dialogue to conclude this year’s festival.
In cooperation with the Czech Embassy and the Czech Centre.
